This regular pad is approximately 8 inches (20 cm) and 2.5 inches (6.5cm) wide when poppered closed, and suitable for every day use. This pad is topped by one layer of organic cotton velour with 2 further layers of organic cotton fleece for absorbency and backed with lovely cream breathable wool. It has attractive quilting stitching at the centre which holds the pad together and actually draws the blood into the body of the pad rather than leaving it on the surface. The poppers are made of nickel free metal. This pad can be washed in a normal wash but it is recommended that it is not washed above 40 degrees or dried in a tumble dryer as this can warp it.
