This is a very big cloth menstrual pad and has been nicknamed 'whale', 'beast', etc.. It is 15 inches long (38 cm) and 3.5 inches (9 cm) wide. You can really sleep easy with these pads, as the flared shape and width is designed to cope well with the sleep situation. This pad is topped by one layer of bamboo/silk with 2 further layers of bamboo/cotton velour for absorbency and backed with lPUL for security and an outer of cream fleece. It has attractive quilting stitching at the centre which holds the pad together and actually draws the blood into the body of the pad rather than leaving it on the surface. The poppers are made of nickel free metal. This pad can be washed in a normal wash and up to 60 degrees but it is recommended that it is not dried in a tumble dryer.
